Our server was named Bubblegum. She was fantastic. Great fun and entertaining. Very rude which we loved. Scout looked so cute too. All staff are rude and that's what you go there for. Fun atmosphere. Very 50's vibe.
Good things first. The decor and the wait staff were great. They dance and their sassy. We went for breakfast. It was okay at most. I put butter on my French toast when it first came out and it didn't melt due to the french toast being cold. I also got the biscuits and gravy. It was again just okay. They have Pepsi products. They don't have Splenda. All and all it's fun. It's right off of Michigan ave. There was a table of children next to us, and they loved it. We did too I just feel for how expensive it is the quality of food would have been better.
Wasn't entirely sure what we were getting into when we'd stopped in for a simplistic burger in fries from what appeared to be a 50s themed diner.
Once inside, we were entirely transported back to the 1950s, beyond simplistic theme, truly the entire staff is in on it.
A true entertainment experience, in character staff and performances, and a rude waitress that we didn't see coming.
Despite going for a simple meal and getting more than we bargained for, we immensely enjoyed the experience, and I'd spread the words to others I hope to go back with.
The food was pretty darn good, too. Burger and fries, but it was legitimately one of the better meals I'd had in the city.
I'll definitely come back.
Such a fun place! The staff are great at doing the sassy server thing, and the random song and dance performances are hilarious. The food is all top-notch greasy spoon diner fare... delicious, plentiful, and is served fast. Definitely a great place for a date or a family adventure.
It was fun for most of us. We were happy we made reservations for 6people. My grandson was not happy about it for his birthday! Service was RUDE as advertised👌Great new lively location downtown. NO parking😔 we had to pay fifty bucks in the garage for lunch😠150 for meal tip included. Good time overall!
The food was good but the vibe and the entertainment were phenomenal! Our group of 5 was only half-English speaking but we all had a blast! The waiters were rude but in a funny, sarcastic way and not offensive. Highly recommend.
The food was good here. The entertainment really brought the flavor of the food up. I got the one and only dog. Full size. It was a large weiner, and it was difficult to get it all in your mouth. It was tasty. The strawberry malt was really good. I highly recommend the malts. The service was great. I would it say sarcasm with positivity. It's not really rude or obnoxious, more playful. The DJ was very entertaining, and the live waiters singing and dancing was awesome.
Ed’s had made a triumphant return. The crew is top notch staying in character and making it a fun environment for everyone. The menu is expansive and the food is well above average. Go and have some fun and get insulted while you’re at it.
